Abbey Outreach & Ministries

Rooted in the Benedictine call to prayer and hospitality, the Abbey’s ministries extend from the altar into the wider community. These efforts are practical expressions of peace and justice — steady, faithful commitments to meet real needs with compassion

Serving Our Neighbors

Concrete acts of care are a steady expression of peace and justice.

Each month the Abbey prepares a meal serving more than 100 people. In season, fresh vegetables from the Abbey garden are also shared.

Shared Spiritual Life

The Abbey offers several ways for visitors and members of the extended community to deepen their spiritual lives through prayer, reflection, and shared learning.

Women’s Spirituality Group

Anam Cara, the women’s spirituality group at Glastonbury Abbey, gathers women who wish to explore the spiritual life together through reflection, conversation, and prayer.

The group meets at the Morcone Conference Center on the first Friday of each month at 4:00 pm, from September through June.

All are welcome.
